In a world of fast-paced multimedia full of viral internet explosions, Citröen has taken a decidedly old school approach to celebrate the unrivalled nine FIA World Rally Championship titles captured by Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena.
The French carmaker unveiled a diorama at a recent industry event in the UK. It covers the pair's famous victories from the snow and ice of Rally Sweden to the ruins of the Acropolis Rally in Greece.
The 1:43-scale model, which was molded over a Citröen DS3 highlights nine different rally terrains; one for every championship win. Each different terrain also features a 1:43-scale model of the championship-winning cars Loeb has driven, dating back to 2004 and the Citröen Xsara.
Designed and built by Kieron Barter from Funky Lemon Design, the model took two months to complete. No detail was left to the imagination, with everything from dust clouds created to provide a sense of speed, with flowers, foliage, cameramen and spectators completing the scene.
The diorama will be appearing at various events in the UK throughout the summer.
