2006 Mitsubishi Evo IX RS - Francis Turalba

The beauty of owning an EVO is that you don’t necessarily have to go crazy modifying it to have a very fast and fun car.

Francis Says: I’ve been in love with the Evolution ever since I saw one in 1994 back home in the Philippines. After nine generations of the car, I was finally able to afford one. I bought the EVO brand new in 2006, and it’s still running strong after 125,000 miles. My boys will have it when they have their driver’s licenses, but until then I have 14 more years to enjoy it!
We Say: The beauty of owning an EVO is that you don’t necessarily have to go crazy modifying it to have a very fast and fun car. This EVO is a great example of what can be done without breaking the bank or reliability of the car. We also love the wingless look with the Enkei NT03+M wheels.

You shouldn't judge a book by its cover—but when the cover looks this good, and underneath is a big honkin' V8, maybe prejudging ain't such a bad thing.

All too often when admiring a high-quality build at a local meet or major car show, we take for granted the fact the car we are admiring was once completely bone stock.
