Fresh Tokyo Meet 2017 Part 2

A second helping of JDM goodness

In the whirlwind of traveling, finding time to eat, and figuring out how we’d be conquering the next week in Japan, we somehow found the time to throw our annual Fresh Tokyo Meet at the Decks Tokyo Beach parking structure.

With a few of these meets in Japan now under our belts, we were confident we’d see a solid turnout and, as usual, our friends and fans in Japan did not disappoint! Droves of heavily modified Mazdas, Toyotas, Hondas, and everything in between made their way to the meet and we were overwhelmed by all of the badass builds. And while we grabbed as many photos as we could in between organizing, traffic control, and meet and greets, we couldn’t capture it all (if you haven’t yet, check out Part 1 here).

Fortunately, our regular contributor and global triggerman, Chad Burdette, is also in Tokyo and always ready for a shoot. Chad was able to snap a full gallery for you – enjoy!

  |   Wild pink paint and “Ahhh, my eyes!” bright green wheels draw plenty of attention to this aggressive Silvia.
  |   You want all three of these in your garage. Right now.
  |   Many feel trends originate in Japan and trickle into the U.S. over time before new ones surface and repeat the cycle. In the case of excessive camber, the look is more popular than ever overseas.
  |   The abused rear fenders, cracked front fender, and bumper sticker tell you this Skyline is no garage queen.
  |   Old-school cool will never die.
  |   American muscle with an American attitude. We saw it all at this year’s gathering.
  |   In case you didn’t believe the statement above. We saw it ALL this year.
