Nissans Invade Tokyo Auto Salon 2017

Datsuns, S-Chassis, GT-Rs and more

Even in Japan's largest convention center, the Makuhari Messe, you'll never run into a shortage of good Nissans at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The show floor is crawling with everything from old-school Datsun S30s to Nissan GT-Rs. While it can be a difficult thing to navigate through the swarm of old pervy men photographing young spokesmodel women, believe us when we say it's totally worth it.

A few of our favorites include the SuperMade Nissans and Smokey Nagata's latest VR32 GT-R - its code name should give you a hint about what's inside the engine bay. If old-school cars are more your thing, Star Road and Kei Miura's Pandem brought out their widebody Datsuns to show retro modding at its finest. And just when your brain threatens to short circuit with Nissan pleasure, you run into the R31 House's R31 wagon with a neatly swapped RB20 motor with ITBs.

Of course there are many other beautiful Nissans to see, which is why we've put this gallery together for your enjoyment.
